Ariana Williams has maintained a creative mindset throughout her life, growing up entertaining herself with music and art. Nurturing her talents from an early age, she has developed skills in singing, songwriting, and fabrication. She began her collegiate career at Winthrop on a vocal music scholarship, but soon realized the desires she had for her secondary education lie outside of classical vocal training. Williams is now a ceramicist and sculptor with cross-disciplinary skills in drawing, photography, and jewelry/metals. Her work is often inspired by personal experience and speaks to her interpretation of self and the human condition. Recently she finds her passions for music and art intermingling and hopes to utilize these events in later bodies of work as they inform her processes. After graduation she plans to return to North Augusta where she will record her first album followed by attending Penland School of Crafts in Spruce Pine, North Carolina later in the summer.
